Giulia is a research assistant at the IKIM. Since her employment, she has been working on the segmentation of histopathological whole slide images, image-based survival analysis, automation of data extraction using FHIR, and text processing and annotation. She is part of the SmartHospital.NRW project, where she helps develop NLP models for information extraction from medical documents.
